This sounds like you are compiling a list of accounts in the B/AR compiled reports routines and using this Meditech import tool on that compiled list of accounts to import a selected canned text.

There are advanced ways to change data via an NPR, but that is not for public use, and is very dangerous. (Think accidentally wiping out your admissions database dangerous). You should check into a scripting solution for automated data entry. We currently outsource our statements after 30 days. We run an npr report to select these accounts and send them off to the other vendor. We're in the process of changing vendors and our billing office wanted to know if there was a way to import a note that stated which vendor the accounts went to so they knew who to refer calls to. The problem is that we don't use any agency codes to identify these patients - they're just selected on a report. So the question is...is there a way to enter a canned text note on an account thru an npr report? Thanks for any help you can offer.
