The Company
Privately owned, leading provider of advisory services in the healthcare
industry, specializing in adoption of clinical information systems is
seeking to add several Consultants with Meditech Expertise. Our needs
include Team Leaders, Application Support and Project Managers. We value
technical, project management and consulting skills. We seek individuals who
have a history of demonstrated quality client service. These individuals
will be responsible along with their client counterparts for assuring the
overall successful implementation of their respective Meditech applications
and modules in a timely manner. We are a virtual company with our corporate
location in the western suburbs of Chicago. This position will be assisting
a Midwest client, but does not require relocation. Travel commitment is 80%.
The ideal candidate will possess most of the below listed Qualifications:
* Clinical background preferably an RN, or strong Ancillary or
Consulting a plus.
* Minimum of 5 years working with Meditech technology, ideally with
expertise in 2 or more of the following modules: Radiology, Order Entry,
Pharmacy, Physician Care Management, Emergency Department, and Imaging and
Therapeutic Services.
* Has consistently demonstrated exceptional competence in providing
end user training, application deployment, go-live support and project
management and planning.
* Knowledge of hospital procedures and policies, ideally in a
multi-facility environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Facilitation experience including experience leading meetings.
* Proven track record in reaching goals and timetables.
* Experience coaching and mentoring staff.
* Strong team, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
* Project management, problem solving and knowledge of workflows and
process skills a must.
