Good afternoon,

We are experiencing a major response time issue in Order Management -
Provider and Non-Provider.
When you click on Order Sets, or jump to Order Sets from Preview/Edit
screen --> Add More --> Order Sets, it takes 30+ seconds to load up the
All Sets screen.
This is so painful that our users have gone back to the traditional OE
Enter/Edit Orders routine.

Meditech suggested that we try the following but the problem persists.

1. Workstation version - They should be using the most recent version.

2. Workstation Connection - For maximum throughput of POM's window/table
display rendering, the session's Telnet connection should be set to the
OE machine. (Options/Connections/Setup... The Host Name/IP Address
field). After this is changed, close out workstation and re-launch a
session with the new or changed connection.
3. Remote Read setting - In later releases, this setting is
automatically managed via the POM software, but with 5.5 SR1 it may be
helpful to set this to N. Remote Read (aka Govnet) allows for a more
efficient workstation field read, but is less efficient for single
character based reads (such as POM's table based displays). OPS 10.
System Information 20. Enter/Edit TermServers, PCs, RemoteHosts. Field
'Negotiate Remote Read'. Set this to N and give it a few minutes to
file across all segments, then close out workstation and sign back in.

We are also having slowness problems in our PHA module - not sure if the
2 issues are related. We recently went live with PCM, not all features,
however.

Thank you!
