Kevin, While I would prefer that Mary had not started this thread of email with her blatant advertisement, I don't see a reason at this early stage of the conversation to term the conversation "rubbish" while putting in your own advertisement when you included the thought that you also do NPR on the side.

There are lots of folks that don't work for MEDITECH, including myself, that do "NPR on the side". Just let it be, or at least take it off-line! Kevin McConnell, PharmD. Our experience is that part time NPR report writing doesn't work well. The report writers get burned out quickly and have trouble keeping deadlines. In addition its our understanding that if they are working on the side and Meditech finds out about it they will be fired. Who does a client call during the day with questions? Or if a report crashes and JCAHO is there, how do they get things fixed asap? We have the largest NPR report writing group in the business and we believe that service is a major part of keeping customers happy. Good luck. Joel Berman President Iatric Systems, Inc. I just wanted to let you know that we hired some Meditech programmers who work part time (at night/weekends) who will write reports for you. We charge WAY less than consultants and the reports get done in a timely manner. This works out for everyone because the programmer can keep his/her day job, make some extra money on the side and you can get tough NPR Reports done by a professional at a low cost.
