Rick, We just went LIVE with 5.6 two days ago. We have a few users that have experienced this but I have been able to trace the problem to a macro that we got from Iatric's Website. The macro replaces Meditech's standard F9 look-up for the multiple line group or optional type queries to allow the user to press F9 once and then checkmark multiple responses instead of having to press F9 mutiple times and only choosing one at a time! The macro has been a wonderful inprovement in our 5.4 and 5.5 versions.
This macro is only causing the user to get kicked to "Goodbye" if they are using the mouse to checkmark responses after pressing F9. Since I always use the keyboard, I didn't notice a problem when testing 5.6. I haven't yet found a distinct pattern that causes the problem as sometimes it works fine. But the only times I have gotten kicked out was when I was using the mouse rather than the keyboard. If you are also using this macro to improve the Look-up for multiple line queries, you may want to see if this is also the problem you are experiencing! I did email Joe Cocuzzo yesterday to see if they have run into this yet and if so, do they happen to know how to fix it. Let me know if you need more information. We have been having a large number of end users in the NUR module who are getting booted out of Meditech while in the middle of charting. They get a black screen, that flashes "Goodbye" and then they are either sent back to their Windows desktop, or are then locked up in Meditech. This happens on our desktop pc's as well as are C.O.W.'s. this seems to be happening mostly since we went from 5.52 to 5.61 in June. Is anyone else having this problem??? Thank you for any responses.
