When it comes to http://wiki.meego.com/Community_Office/Marketing#Tasks
that wiki page is the best starting point.

It would be great to hear from the mouth of these companies whether that
list of tasks has the right items and priorities in relation to their
needs. It would be very useful to know in which items certain company is
already working, whether they are looking for help or not.

This would be a first level of coordination on top of the tasks
themselves, without much need of deep day to day coordination. If the
owners of a task are identified and they work for company AA, then it is
much easier for companies BB, CC and DD to go ask and share plans and
potential collaboration at a deeper level.

These discussions can be done in this list or they can be initiated via
email, etc. Sometimes they involve budgets, contractors and other
sensitive topics. Since the goals of the task are public the work itself
can be public too, at least in terms of who has committed to deliver
what, where is the help needed, etc.
