Connected TV was one of the UXs introduced with the MeeGo launch: http://meego.com/devices/connected-tv . There is a mention to a Connected TV Working Group at http://meego.com/sites/all/files/imagecache/image_post_width/users/u24/MeeGo_setup_8jun2010.png in the Governance pages. However, since then no plans have been announced or discussed publicly.
