In the device clients we can simply call it by the source: "meego.com"

As a user you can see you apps coming from the different sources your
device has access to e.g. "AppUp", "Ovi", "$Vendor", "$Operator",
"meego.com"...

As for "Apps" and "Packages" they look sensible and clear. 

But "Surrounds"? Where would this be used? I'm not arguing about the
name itself to define the libraries supporting the apps. The question is
whether this "Surrounds" would be used in any URL, repository name, etc.

I mean, technically the packages defined as "surrounds" are 0% visible
in Apps, 100% present in Packages and technically in the same
repositories than the packages of apps. Or am I missing something?
