I agree Ronan. Who's responsible for site mapping? I'm thinking we're
getting to or at the point to start diagramming *.meego.com...

  Hi all,

   One issue I can see here is that we need to have some clear
  goals for the different sites. www.meego.com has grown to cover many
  different things, some which will be transferred to
  developer.meego.com eventually.

  For developer.meego.com the goal was to be “the best possible
  application developer site for MeeGo” – a byproduct of the
  project.

  For wiki.meego.com I can imagine the goal to be “to support the
  MeeGo project and related projects by providing an open documentation
  infrastructure”.

  Because www.meego.com has been the only web-site it has had to grow
  to fill in gaps in our digital presence, this is a chance to state a
  high level goal or goals and use these to drive the IA, etc.

  Just my 2cents.

  Ronan.

  Subject: [MeeGo-community] Goals of the next meego.com update

  Hi, please have a look at the list of goals for the next meego.com
  update proposed
  http://wiki.meego.com/Marketing/Meego.com_1.2_update#Goals

  There are the changes we want to start introducing now and complete
  as soon as feasible, bearing in mind that everything needs to be
  solid and polished during the MeeGo 1.2 release in April.

  The first task is to agree on these goals, the people in charge and
  the deadlines.

  Mike Shaver and me are the ultimate gatekeepers and we will put
  plenty of hours on this, but many more are of course involved.

  Coordinators proposed. In some cases they are already doing the work,
  in most cases they are the obvious candidates:

  * Restructure meego.com (Quim)
  o Reorganization of current sections & pages. (Mike)
  o Cleanup of 'coming soon' pages. (Mike)
  o New page for Core OS. (Quim)
  o Boundary & links from/to http://wiki.meego.com well defined. (Dawn)
  * Complete http://developer.meego.com (Ronan)
  * Complete planet.meego.com (Henri)
  * Complete $apps-catalog (Niels)
  * Press friendly About section. (Quim)
  * Homepage refresh. (Quim)
  * Website for new MeeGo Conference (Mike)

  Once we have a better idea of owners, teams and tasks we will be able
  to nail down delivery dates.
