Since we got into best practices, I want to revisit naming schemas. I'm still thinking we should take a hierarchal approach, with MeeGo and the group type listed first, as Jarkko did with the Finland group:
MeeGo National USA MeeGo Regional Texas (state, province, commonwealth, etc) Meego Local DFW For local groups, Using IATA airport codes for the nearest major airport as the group designator helps avoid confusion if two or more groups had cities of the same name (in different states or provinces). It also solves issues like I have where you are trying to cover two or more very close major cities (that might help the discussion over a Koeln group). I renamed the two groups I've started from DFW MeeGo Network Austin MeeGo Network to MeeGo Network DFW MeeGo Network AUS and would gladly replace "Network" with "Local" if that was deemed the best practice by consensus. Feedback welcome.
