Right to the point: is anyone doing the paperwork required to register Meego as a mentoring organization in this year's GSoC?
Last year, VDVsx was our organization's administrator. It was decided, for PR reasons, that the Maemo would have more chances to be selected as an organization than the then mostly unknown Meego name, and thus, it was the maemo.org community that formally entered GSOC 2010. However, this year, two important things have happened: A) Meego is better known, so I guess it makes sense for this year's organization to be Meego (or not, depending on whether maemo.org wants to enter on its own or not, but so far there has been more student interest for Meego). B) Valério (VDVsx) is, AFAIK, not going to be the administrator this year. So, was a replacement found and he's written all the paperwork in the shadows or something? Deadline is in _few days_ (friday march 11th) Otherwise, I wanted to be a mentor this year, so I _could_ volunteer to be the administrator, but I'd need a TON of help (you can bet student- >administrator is a big leap ;) ).
