Hi

The package is not missing. There's a bug in the zypper backend so it doesn't 
see the noarch packages. You can work around the issue by setting the arch 
temporatiry to noarch in /etc/zypp/zypp.conf (it's the last line in the file). 
After that install the base icons, change the arch back and install the 
components.

Seems qt-components-base-icons still missing from N900CE repo(s)? Could be one 
of the reason qt-components is not installed as default?

 Components are now available in CE Trunk repository, so with zypper or via 
dependency they come to image,
 but for some reason they are not yet preinstalled. Sami, was there any reason

 Yes, I think this is something we would like to do quite soon.
