Hi all, After the Fall Release of the N900/N950/N9 Community Edition for MeeGo, we would like to move towards a open governance in the project, by having a steering group started to govern the further work.
Gary Birkett (lcuk), before his passing, had put together this proposal for this steering group and we'd like to put his proposal into action, to honor his memory. His proposal on the role and working method of the steering group and it's members can be read here at http://wiki.meego.com/ARM/N900/CE_Steering_Group Now, down to practicalities - The proposal calls for a preliminary 3 member group based upon meritocracy and current involvement in the Community Edition project. Hence, we'd like the members of the community surrounding CE to nominate people (by responding to this mailing list post) you'd like to see in this steering group along with descriptions of their merit and contributions to the project. Based on the received nominations, we'll evaluate who has the merit and contributions to be in the steering group and this will be the initial steering group.
