Response time results are now quite interesting because Fall Release is based
on MeeGo 1.3 and previous comparison release was based on MeeGo 1.2. Here's
results...
Release highlights (release: testing-CE-2011-09-27.1) compared to latest
release:

Incoming call improved by 65% (it's now 0,2s)
Camera start-up improved by 35% (3,2s)
Helium start-up improved by 28% (4,0s)
SMS start-up improved by 24% (4,7s)
Dialer start-up improved by 18% (2,0s)
Handset start-up improved by 17% (77s)

Fennec start-up increased by 46% (it's now 17,3s)
Handset shutdown time increased by 7% (17,8s)
=> we can easily say that performance has improved. Actually almost all
applications (camera, dialer, helium, and almost sms) hit their all time low in
start-up time
Here's accurate measurement table for the Fall Release (each use case is
measured three times with stop watch and median result is used as a result):
