======================================================= #meego-meeting2: Nemo Steering Group meeting 22/11/2011 =======================================================
Meeting started by Sage at 12:11:33 UTC. The full logs are available at http://irclogs.meego.com/meetbot/meego-meeting2/2011/meego-meeting2.2011-11-22-12.11.log.html . Meeting summary --------------- * Image naming convention (Sage, 12:13:01) * So as we know in Nemo there are many adaptation and UX ports already active in the community. The question that I want to ask is that if we want to "brand" those UX's similar to MeeGo or if we want to just keep the names as such. (Sage, 12:13:41) * With this I mean if we want to have for example, Nemo handset UX, Nemo tablet UX, Nemo TV UX etc., or just nemo mtf, nemo plasmaactive, nemo xbmc etc. (Sage, 12:14:01) * Status (Sage, 12:39:51) * LINK: https://bugs.nemomobile.org/ (iekku, 12:40:29) * ACTION: I will enable account sharing between mer and nemo bugzilla (lbt, 12:46:36) * mer bugzilla is now able to act as an account master - ie when name/passwd information changes on mer bugzilla it's propogated to LDAP (using SSHA256 encrypted passwds FTW) (lbt, 12:48:52) * ACTION: lbt to setup nemomobile mediawiki and a whiteboard marking how many beers he's owed. (lbt, 13:00:16) * next nemo mobile release should be coming this Thursday. (Sage, 13:03:19) * ad. Open Hack day 26.11.2011 at Tampere. One of the topics: Nemo: http://5w.fi/5blog/2011/11/21/open-hackday-tampereella-26-11-2011/ (veskuh, 13:03:51) * runtime graphicssystem support will (probably) make it into the next release - already SR'd for n900, testing n950 this arvo/tonight, meaning moar ram for all \o/ (w00t, 13:04:11) * qmlcontacts application started and already usable(ish), reusing bits from meego-app-contacts with a Qt Components UI, no mtf dependency etc, going reasonably well. xruxa helping with graphical design. (w00t, 13:05:12) * qmlsms started, removing mtf dependencies from SMS application, reusing most of the existing code - bit complicated, and it's the last piece that's going to block integration of qmlcontacts too. (w00t, 13:05:57) * qmlsms & qmlcontacts work should probably be ready for testing/integration in another 2-3 weeks, I'd estimate - if you want to poke around, there's code in git, and some preliminary packages in home:w00t:branches:Project:MTF:Tracker - but some risks if you like stuff to keep working, so talk to me before using them (w00t, 13:07:01) * irc-chatter SR'd, so we have a pretty IRC application (w00t, 13:07:24) * updated ce-backgrounds so we have a non-MeeGo bootsplash (Subject to SR) (lbt, 13:09:14) * ACTION: w00t and lbt to look briefly at the appsformeego client to see how easy it is to get into usable shape. (lbt, 13:11:48) * calendar stauts 0.0.1 yuo can navigation in the time (year, month and day) but you can't insert appoinment or other things (niqt, 13:16:02) * ACTION: dm8tbr to do setup for #mer-meeting for next meeting (w00t, 13:21:50) Meeting ended at 13:23:11 UTC.
