Hi Folks,
I guess Greg beating us up pushed me to create a wiki for our community
[1], which gives yet another "getting started" for sending git patches.
It is meant to give our budding developer community a slightly collated
view of how this "git patch thing" actually works. All of this details
are already out there in the net, Just collated it in my
non-native-english-speaking language (apology if I tend to ramble on in
it OR messed up my spellcheck and punctuation :D)..
I just sent it to the MeeGo tech writer for a review of the english bits.
She'll make sure all of the commas end up in the right place and correct
any other errors.
Thank you. yep, that will definitely help, though I suggest we wait for
us code monkeys finish messing it up before cleaning it for posterity :)

Thanks so much for doing this! I know there has been some confusion from
new contributors about how this process works, so having something
nicely documented should help.
yep, I kinda felt it was unfair to beat up contributors for not knowing
a language which is not documented clearly :(.. I guess in a way we are
to blame as well :(..
It would be great if Greg, Alan or Arjan could do a quick technical review
just to catch any possible typos in the technical instructions.
Looking back at the wiki, we probably need to add more stuff to it -
examples of how not to post patches, contents should not contain mixed
up changes etc.. dunno exactly how we'd go about it, but I guess we'd
all need some help sometime :)
