At least the netbook networks panel requires Connman 0.60.4 changes to
be able to integrate VPN services even passably. Also, I believe the DNS
fix in 0.60.5 should be a _major_ improvement to the people who have
been suffering from that particular problem.
Your point about timing stands of course: Connman guys should have
submitted earlier or listed proposed bugs in the submission and I should
have filed a bug for the missing features I need for the VPN UI.
Complaining about not having approval isn't really fair -- today is the
first day I've seen _any_ bugs get approved.
If your worry concerning breaking existing UIs is about the
RemoveProvider() changes: I believe it was a broken design before, and
can't see how it could have been used the way it used to work before 0.60.4.
