That the applications should leave to a dedicated set of Connectivity
UIs. It is not a good idea if N applications all by themselves start
configuring network connections. Also I don't see the point in
applications suddenly requesting some central Connectivity UI entity to
have the user configure random networks.

I would go with the solution in Maemo/Fremantle: there is a settings
application that the user accesses in order to configure networks.
Automatically showing such settings dialog can be done via ConnMan
'ReportError' Agent API method call if/when needed. That method call is
documented but not yet implemented; there will be people working on it
as soon as they have time.

You get a list of all WLANs in range from ConnMan, currently only the
ones with hidden SSIDs are not shown.
