Agree with you on that. That little intro does leave out the feature part..

Having features in the bugzilla is one of the many ways to ensure that the 
community drives the platform in a controlled path. The new features are 
reviewed directly by the vertical's product manager. Sorry for the inadequate 
documentation, but nonetheless, this is a very important part of the 
development process.

infact googling for "approved feature number" in google on the site 
meego.com does not return anything - why are we making the life of a 
community contributor difficult?
