Hi All, I am using the "build" tool to build some packages for MeeGo and I noticed that the packages that get installed in the build root directory differ from the ones that get into the mic created image.
Example: I want to build a kernel module within an rpm package. My reference image / kickstart file is the ivi 1.0.1 release. I added the update repositories to the list of repositories to always get the latest versions. The repository configuration is the same for the kickstart file and for the "build" commandline. Now the following problem arises: The mic image contains the kernel-ivi package version "2.6.33.5-26.1-ivi". The build-root from the "build" tool however contains the kernel-ivi package version "2.6.33.3-19.1-ivi". Hence my kernel module is compiled against the wrong kernel and will not work. How can I fix this? Note: The different kernel version for ivi are in the 1.0 release repository as well as the update repositoy. Here is the complete list as of today: 1.0: kernel-ivi-2.6.33.3-11.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.3-19.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-20.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-22.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-23.1.i586.rpm Updates: kernel-ivi-2.6.33.3-19.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-20.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-22.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-23.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-24.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-25.1.i586.rpm kernel-ivi-2.6.33.5-26.1.i586.rpm Any ideas? -Rolf -- Rolf Offermanns <[email protected]> SYSGO AG Tel.: +49-6136-9948-0 Am Pfaffenstein 14 Fax: +49-6136-9948-10 55270 Klein-Winternheim http://www.sysgo.com Handelsregister: HRB Mainz 90 HRB 8066 Vorstand: Michael Tiedemann Aufsichtsratsvorsitzender: Juergen Bullacher USt(VAT)-Id-Nr.: DE 149062328 _______________________________________________ MeeGo-packaging mailing list [email protected] http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-packaging
