Hi, If you have not noticed that yet there is a new build target in Trunk:Testing called postchecks. This target builds the same as the standard target but with some additional packaging and compile warning tests and checks. This can detect lots of potential security issues and other problems in build time. Errors would fail the package, hence it is not enabled by default yet until we have optimized it and removed any false positives.
There are about 80 packages failing right now that would require some attention, if you think a package is failing without a good reason, please raise your voice. Also, if you have suggestions for additional tests and checks, let us know. The checks come from build-post-checks packages we have borrowed from opensuse and it was modified for MeeGo.
