I see...a few pkgers keep the debian stuff around in their git trees so they
can re-pkg for debian as well, and sometimes, they pkg the Debian changelog
or copyright within Meego (e.g. sensorfw or libdsme or n900-camera-firmware)

Other than removing the changelog and copyright debian info from the .spec
and the bin rpm, are you also suggesting that they shouldn't be in the
source pkg either?

If so I'll work with the owners of the pkgs that do have this and make sure
this is dealt with...
