Personally, I have no problems taking them in, and I do feel that a bug is not
required for such cases. But there are no 'official' guidelines talking about
such exceptions. I am basically trying to work out a compromise here with a
'metabug' and I cannot make alterations in the rules that have been already put
down.

I would definitely support this, but it's up to Terence and the other release
managers to decide upon such flexibility for exceptional situations.

Regards,
Madhu

Subject: Re: [meego-packaging] [meego-commits] 11120: Changes to
Trunk:Testing/dsme

Hi,

In my opinion this BMC requirement starts to go a bit over its purpose.
I'm guessing that there is a lot of packages in MeeGo that require this
change, i.e., from one group to another. Also this change is trivial and
you can see it yourself also from the diff.

So could we make an exception in this matter and not to require this
overhead to be made because of the one line of change in .spec (and .yaml)?

Regards,
Marko
