If you check 
http://build.meego.com/package/rawlog?arch=i586&package=meegotouch-compositor&project=Trunk&repository=standard
it loads in mce-headers which basically describe MCE d-bus interface.
It doesn't link to any mce libraries and probably works fine without
it running (check the discussions regarding mce-headers from some time
ago)
