Hi, We don't have an explicit option to disable the usage of libmeegotouch, but it is not a mandatory dependency either. Tracker checks at build time if the library is available, and in that case links with it. Otherwise it uses the standard .desktop parsing code.
In other workds: You can still build Tracker with --enable-maemo flag and no meegotouch in the system and it works fine. If you want a explicit --disable-meegotouch option, feel free to open a bug in the GNOME bugzilla: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/?product=tracker Regards, Ivan On Tue, Apr 12, 2011 at 11:50 AM, Zhu, Peter J <[email protected]> wrote: > Hi > >> -----Original Message----- >> From: [email protected] >> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ivan Frade >> Sent: Monday, April 11, 2011 3:37 PM >> To: Carsten Munk >> Cc: [email protected] >> Subject: Re: [meego-packaging] Vala Packages in OBS needs to be updated >> >> Hi, >> >> The application names in the .desktop files are "encoded" in an id, >> and Tracker needs a function in meegotouch to get the real application >> name (so it can be searched).
