I don't know what change it was, but today I ran `zypper dup` on a
Trunk machine that was installed about a week ago, and now zypper is
unusable:

- rpm -qa shows hundreds of installed packages
- zypper pa shows 6 packages: glibc-* and nscd

I'm unable to kick zypper to get it to see anything else anymore.
Tried clean --all, rm /var/cache/zypp etc. Also rpmdb --rebuilddb

zypper can still remove packages fine (tried it with tcpdump), but
reinstalling the same package no longer works. Installing new ones
also does not work.

Anas? ideas? I can reinstall, but I wasn't aware that something
incompatible went in recently, and again, this box was just installed
a week ago or so.

zypper-1.5.3
libzypp-9.1.2.
