In case you just need to execute some test packages it might be enough to use testrunner-lite directly. OTS is useful if you have multiple devices and lots of testruns. Best place to start is the autotest-guide[1]. After you are able to execute tests automatically with testrunner and you have the need to scale up the system you can setup OTS by following the installation instructions[2].
