Hi all,

For info I am testing the manual integration and execution of automated test
cases (mcts-ofono-tests) into the netbook SDK target. So far it works well
except that I didn't look into the proper results I got (most of the test cases
fail, maybe phonesim modem is not started but I didn't investigate this
specific aspect which is another subject). Attached is the whole detail of the
process I apply.

Ville,

Thanks again for the information you provided, I take this opportunity to give
you some feedback :)
- I got the rpm package of mcts-ofono-tests from the link you pointed
http://download.meego.com/live/devel:/quality:/tests/Trunk/i586/ but I couldn't
install it into my SDK target, neither in chroot mode nor from a terminal of my
running SDK target. What I get is: "error: Failed dependencies: phonesim is
needed by mcts-ofono-tests-<version_number>" but at this stage of the process,
I have already installed phonesim.
- As regards to eat packages, as far as I understand they are only useful in
OTS context, right? Because a manual installation into my SDK target didn't
lead automation to start alone... Or am I missing something?

Best regards,
Helia

Not that I know but the example "To setup a Lenny system" is so
beautiful it almost makes you cry, doesn't it?

From build infrastructure perspective I really can't tell but if you
(or anyone) have time to find out please let me know :)

chroot support was introduced to OTS and testrunner-lite with
contribution from Tobias Koch. Also Helia Correia is using chroot setup
for SDK testing and I provided some comments to her on how that could be
automated.
