Sometimes, reporter may update test report by web page even after the result CSV or XML is uploaded, such as add more comments or update one test case result. So download original data file may be inconsistent with latest result. One better solution is that we can generate CSV/XML file from Database if user needs to download test result from report.

I understand Vesa's proposal, but I am thinking the out-of-date result file could be used mistakenly. If this feature is necessary, I think the result file should be updated according to the latest date from DB. Then the end user still can see the output of steps with the latest test results and comments. On the other hand, I didn't see the corresponding bugs on bugs.meego.com.
