I'm guilty of this one, actually it probably shouldn't be in production
at all as there is some further work to do on it.
Basically it'll be a way of allowing one to verify a fix or feature
across multiple platforms. This coincides with making the platform
drop-down multiple choice. I think the theory goes that if the bug is
raised on say three platforms, the fix should be verified on each of them.
But this is not for me to tell you about; Eric has mentioned it on this
list, and of course(!) there would be a formal announcement when it's
ready for use, which isn't now.
