As the realism of Priority field triaging in bug reports hasn't been discussed yet (see [1]) I'm going to send emails (maybe on a weekly basis) providing numbers for the triaging of the "Priority" field of bug reports in bugs.meego.com.
Triaging of the "Priority" bug report field in the last 7 days: >From "Undecided" to "High": 97 (23.72%) >From "Undecided" to "Medium": 269 (65.77%) >From "Undecided" to "Low": 43 (10.51%) Interpretation note: According to http://wiki.meego.com/Quality/Bugzilla_Fields#Priority and http://wiki.meego.com/Quality/Bugtriage_Guide#Priority "medium" means "fix before product release" (whatever "product release" exactly means here, maybe 1.2.0 or 1.3.0?), so 89% of all reports that were triaged (high+medium) in the last seven days fall into this category. Only for 10.51% fixes are "not planned for the up-coming project release". Of course anybody is welcome to integrate these three trivial queries in some automatic MeeGo QA report website, and even more welcome to wonder whether these numbers are realistic. I doubt. andre [1] http://lists.meego.com/pipermail/meego-qa/2011-January/000820.html -- Andre Klapper (maemo.org bugmaster) http://www.openismus.com
