This is my first post and I would thank Steven Johnson and ab-initio MIT group for their great work.
I'm trying to simulate an optical graded index waveguide in order to obtain some useful project parameters.
I have calculated the modal behaviour of the structure at a given frequency using MPB.
Could you suggest to me the simplest way to excite the waveguide with the exact modal field pattern (*.h5) found in MPB?
