Dear Steven and MEEP's users,
I thank you very much for your suggestion. My structure is PC slab
(refractive index: n, slab thickness: h) with triangular lattice of air holes.
Point defect cavity is formed in the center of the structure. The number of
layers of air holes that surround the defect is 3. In my calculation, the
radius of the defect hole is kept at r (radius of air holes), whereas its
refractive index is varied (n1).
After making this structure, I have some MEEP commands (by modifying some
commands in MEEP Tutorial - Band diagram, resonant modes, ...) to study the Q,
and resonant point defect modes.
In this structure, I consider the TE-like modes (Hz is along the z axis). I
don't know how the source is inside the cavity to study the Q, and resonant
modes. Please help me!

  Thank you in advance!
