Dear Matt, Thank a lot, but I still have problem about simulating the field metal. I got a feeling that it is not just a matter of averaging or not. Whenever I use some negative values in my epsilon, there will be adrupt change of epsilon on boundary such that some crazy epsilon number will be generated. I guess these numbers are generated by interpolation scheme on 1/epsilon. The crazy number are the result of zero crossing of epsilon on the grid. Those crazy number on boundary will screw up the whole simulation and it is not just the matter of visualization.
I hope I 'm wrong, because those kind of problems are definitely not easy to solve. If anyone have similar experience, plz feel free to point out my error. I attached my ctl script for reference.
