I have been reading through the Meep code in an attempt to understand the situation. I now believe that polarizations with a user-provided sigma(x) are supported, but only through the C++ interface. Has anyone here used the C++ interface with polarizations? If so, I would greatly appreciate looking at your code to learn how to handle the material objects.
