Thank you for your help and reply. I guess now the quick but ugly fix is to use some imagmagick command such as mogrify to do to batch flipping (for making a movie).
I also appreciate the hint on searchable archive. It helps me greatly! Some question about the current developing status of MEEP: is it still actively maintained by MIT group or other entity?
