I have two questions (1) I simulated waveguide mode in dielectric material I converted png files to gif file by using “imagemagick” program and I started the animation But source is turned on after several seconds Why does it take several seconds before the source starts, not right after I turn it on? (2) For dielectric materials like Silicon oxide, they have real number dielectric constant. But I want to use material type “Aluminium”. But dielectric constant of Aluminum is complex number(it has both the real part and the imaginary part, −1300+i <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imaginary_unit> 1.3×1014) How can I set condition for aluminium??
