If you want a system response, why do you only observe fields pinning *one point* which surely stand in a your output ports? I wonder why you want to integrate fields in a box. And Nyquist's law tells the sampling rate should be at least *twice* the highest frequency of what you want and I recommend 4~8 ( or more) points per period.
