Dear all. I've tried to do simulation for the parallel meep with the meep-mpi + hdf5 parallel + NFS + LAM/MPI on several linux machines which have a 2 cpu on each machine.
Before I used LAM/MPI, I used Open mpi. but I got the some error to use h5topng which tried to write some files to NFS directory. Actually, I am not sure for the reason of the error. Anyway, I installed LAM/MPI not Open MPI. I succeeded it. but to write the result files is so slow. I guessed the reason is some problem related to the NFS. There are many alternatives for NFS. So. finally, which programs are the best option to give a best performance for simulation of meep mpi ? Additionally, I just did simulation on the several linux machines via network connection without any special hardware for the linux clustering.
