Dear meep users and Steven:
When I usd meep to run file, it worked well and h5 files can be
successfully output.
However, if I used meep-mpi, it could calculated but h5 files failed to
output.
   there was error message:

meep: meep: not compiled with HDF5, required for HDF5 output
MPI_ABORT invoked on rank 1 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD with errorcode 1
not compiled with HDF5, required for HDF5 output
Some deprecated features have been used. Set the environment
variable GUILE_WARN_DEPRECATED to "detailed" and rerun the
program to get more information. Set it to "no" to suppress
this message.

MPI_ABORT invoked on rank 0 in communicator MPI_COMM_WORLD with errorcode 1

I check configure and use --enable-parallel, the message is:

  checking for instrumented library... no
checking for parallel support files... provided by compiler
checking for MPI_Init in -lmpi... no
checking for MPI_Init in -lmpich... no
checking prefix for running on one processor...
checking prefix for running in parallel...
checking whether a simple MPI-IO program can be linked... no
configure: error: unable to link a simple MPI-IO application

I 'm wondering what is the MPI-IO program, does it mean openmpi?
 I installed openmpi 1-2.2 and hdf5-1.6.5.
I'm guessing hdf5 couldn't find the path to openmpi. am I right?
But how can I set the path to let configure to find the openmpi?
or is there a package I should install?

Thank you

Cheers
Adrian
