Dear Steven and Meep users, Maybe, I have found the reason of noise about the second question in my previous email. If I set periodic boundary condition in x and y directions, and PML in z direction, the time evolution of electric field will have a big noise. If I set PML in all directions, this problem can be fixed. However, my geometry is periodic in x and y directions. How to fix this problem about the noise? Thanks a lot!
