Hello, Meep --

   I am having trouble understanding the meaning of the input variable 'm' for 
cylindrical simulations.  I have a circularly polarised plane wave (m=1) which 
is being focused by a cylindrically symmetric structure.  The source is 
generated by taking (Er - i*Ephi), and I usually take m=1.  However, I have 
read that near a tight focus there can be small components with m=0,-1.  When I 
repeat the simulation with other m, the results are hard to understand 
(sometimes suspicious narrow stripes on-axis, NaN's for m=-2, et cetera).
   Can someone please tell me (or point me to a reference telling me) what the 
variable m actually represents, and how it is used in the calculation?  Is 
there a 'correct' m for each source/structure combo (m=1 for mine), or should 
the exact solution represent a series taken over all m, with contributions 
(hopefully) becoming smaller for larger m?
