I made sure it is enabled. That is probably not the issue.
Besides as I mentioned in my previous mail the structure output does work
so it can not be a general problem with HDF output.
To put it clear the difference is :
 f.output_hdf5(Dielectric, v.surroundings());  - works
 f.output_hdf5(Ez, v.surroundings());  - does not work
It seems to be just a problem of FIELD output in HDF while using MPI.
