It didn't help, I even changed the dimension of the computational cell, and the problem is still there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ________________________________ From: MEGENS, Mischa [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: 30 January 2009 09:37 To: asadollahbaik a. Hi, It looks like meep is thinking you want to do 10x0 instead of 10x1. Perhaps there is a rounding problem? Can you do 10x1.0001? Good luck, m. ________________________________ From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of asadollahbaik a. My computational cell is 10x1, and I have set the resolution to 40. I am also exploiting the mirror symmetry along the x direction (since the periodicity of my structure is along the y direction) But unfortunately I am getting an error from meep saying: "Cannot split 0 grid points into 1 parts" Why is that for?!? How come it is saying the grid points is zero?!?!
