Each frequency will correspond to a different incident angle for the
same wavevector. However, if you want the response for multiple angles
and multiple frequencies, then you can do a sequence of pulses for
different Bloch wavevector boundary conditions and cover a whole range
of both frequencies and angles.
I think this was discussed on the mailing list previously.
