I'm currently trying a commercial code (Lumerical) to model the far-field polarization induced by a blazed grating, then adding contamination, etc., to look at changes in far-field scatter, polarization, etc. I would like to try Open Source code - does anyone know of a blazed grating example for MEEP? Not being a Real Programmer, I seem to learn software best by modifying examples, but there are no examples I've found that are close to the grating I need to simulate. Also, has anyone tried anything like this with Wolfsim? Or can anyone suggest another Open Source code? (I saw the listing at Wikipedia) THANKS! ;^) Patti
