Dear Steven and all, I am running meep on an AMD opteron cluster. Based on my understanding ( I am really not an expert on this) The cluster have 4 nodes with 4 cores on each node. All for computers are connected to one hard drive.
I find that meep is more faster (3-4 times faster, maybe) on the first nodes than all other nodes. I've tried other programs on this cluster and find no such problems. All nodes are running at a similar speed. I am wondering what the problem is and how to fix it. Thanks, Hua
