Dear meep users/developers, has anyone made experience simulating a negative Kerr Coefficient n2? Is it theoretically possible to do that?
I am simulating CW FWM, it works nicely for positive n2. However, when I use negative values in 1D simulations, I see spatial periodicities which are much smaller than what is expected theoretically (e.g. the parametric gain g=i*10-5 µm^-1 would result in a periodicity of pi/abs(g) - however, I observe a periodicity of apprx. 350µm) Thank you! Bernd
