Thanks Manu,. I had once installed meep on cygwin- about 2 years ago! Dont remember how though!
So I tried to install it this time on ubuntu,... but faced some serious problems regarding flags and paths! Since there was an easier option of downloading the meep-1.1.1 I simply gave up!
