Dear Meep users, I have already posted a question concerning the units of the second order nonlinear susceptibility but despite the answer of a fellow user, it is not yet quite clear to me.
The SI units of chi2 are m/V. My question is , for the real case of a material with chi2 = 1 pm / V what should be the value in the meep code. Does it depend only on the characteristic length of the system or ...? Any suggestions or knowledge on the subject will be appreciated .
